Retallack (Winter)

The Chronicle Girls of Gnarnia

Located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains, Retallack receives over 13 metres (40 ft) of snow per year that blankets its open bowls, glades, and treeskiing runs. Overall the terrain at Retallack is steep and possesses numerous features that are only suitable for advanced to expert skiers/snowboarders. Retallack is particularly known for its consistent powder snow, steep tree skiing (which includes 800 year old cedars), and pillow lines.  Retallack Lodge is located approximately a one hour’s drive North of Nelson, BC and has a prestigious Four Green Key Eco-rating. We’ll be privy to mouth-watering cuisine and thoughtfully selected wines (and our morning smoothies – of course!); all in the cozy surroundings of our own timber-frame backcountry lodge. Retallack is truly a place that you’ll never forget!
